Anglers Restaurant is a casual eatery that serves seafood, fried foods, sandwiches, steak, and other fresh, quality dishes. Kimberly’s at the Marina overlooks the Penobscot River with indoor and outdoor seating and serves fresh, homemade meals with ingredients from local vendors.


Things to Do

Hermon Mountain Ski Area is an exciting winter attraction that offers equipment rentals, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and classes. The Cole Land Transportation Museum collects, preserves, and displays land transportation equipment and military memorabilia so residents can learn about the reshaping of the land, highways, and rail lines that supported the area's development. Bangor-Webster Golf Club is a 27-hole course designed for all players and skill levels. The club also offers Nordic skiing and snowshoeing in the winter with seven miles of trails. Brewer Lake is a beautiful area to fish, hike, boat, and observe different land and water life, like crayfish, mussels, plants, birds, and more.



RSU #22 has seven schools that serve more than 2,000 students in Hampden, Newburgh, Winterport, and Frankfort.
