Bar Harbor is a city on Mount Desert Island along Frenchman Bay with beautiful cliffs, mountains, and forests to explore. Acadia National Park offers many year-round outdoor activities like hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, rock climbing, camping, and more. There are many areas in the national park to explore, including visitor centers, rivers and ponds, and wildlife tours. Cadillac Mountain is a feature in Acadia National Park that reaches more than 1,500 feet and can be seen from Bar Harbor and other points on the island. Sand Beach is another well-known spot in the national park that has access from the Park Loop Road. The beach has many unique shells from the surf and is a beautiful place to enjoy the water and views.

 

Schools
